Since 1983, Trouw Nutrition, a subsidiary of Nutreco, has been a leader in the pet food industry, offering a wide range of dry pet products for commercial and specialized markets. No matter their product line, Trouw Nutrition’s goal is to provide superior nutrition and high quality pet food across Canada, the US and Japan.
Over the last 10+ years, we’ve worked closely with Trouw Nutrition to create packaging that stands apart from the competition, while highlighting the brand’s value and superior offering. Since working with AS Advertising, Trouw Nutrition has noticed a significant improvement in brand awareness, resulting in a business increase of more than 80%.

BRANDING
Comprising of multiple sub-brands, including Lifetime, Wholesome Blend and Nutrichoice Advantage, we’ve worked closely with Trouw Nutrition across their product lineup to better define their brands in the retail space. Using their branding to emphasize their commitment to pet nutrition, quality and their dedication to Canadian ingredients has helped to clearly differentiate their products on the shelf, resulting in increasing sales year over year.
MARKETING
Across all product lines, we’ve worked with Trouw Nutrition to increase their brand awareness and sales volume with smart marketing pieces and creative advertising. Over the last 10 years, we’ve had the pleasure of developing tradeshow materials like banners and display booths, pamphlets and brochures, point of sale marketing support, digital marketing assets, video content and more.
PACKAGING
One of the most integral pieces of Trouw Nutrition’s marketing mix is their packaging. With several unique brands, our challenge was to differentiate each product lineup from both their competitors and from each other on the shelf. We’ve overcome this challenge using impactful branding and creative layouts to give each product lineup a unique, eye-catching look.
