PAINTING HAMILTON

Nick DiRago from DiRago Painting came to us to transition and rebrand his custom painting company. Now known as Painting Hamilton, a Division of DiRago Painting, the brand needed a refresh and to build recognition under the new name. Nick and his team have been servicing Hamilton and the surrounding areas for over 15 years. From residential, to commercial, Nick’s team does it all. He wanted to ensure the new brand contained the core elements that loyal customers of DiRago Painting and come to know and trust.

STRATEGY

After meeting with Nick a couple of times, we realized he needed his brand to stand out, look clean and professional and also reflect the area he services. With a pop of distinct fresh blue, we came up with the Painting Hamilton logo and then carried out the brand further from web, to business cards and t-shirts for his team.

IMPACT

A moderate increase in brand awareness has resulted in a 10% increase in business.

ELEMENTS

Identity: Colour was obvious when working with a painter. We chose a clean and fresh blue, which complimented the sans-serif typography and brush icon. Within the dripping paint on the brush, we created a skyline that represents the City of Hamilton.

Print: We further expanded the Painting Hamilton brand into custom t-shirts for his team members, as well as business cards and will eventually create custom truck wraps allowing the brand to stand out at job sites throughout the city of Hamilton.

Web: For the Painting Hamilton website, we wanted to create something simple, mobile friendly, SEO optimized and user-friendly. We also wanted to showcase Nick’s experience, past projects and highlight his range of services with before and after shots in a responsive gallery which Nick is able to update easily via social media.
